First of all, I just want to thank everyone who’s taken part in #Queuesday so far. It’s debut last week proved more popular than I ever expected and it really helped highlight loads of incredible LittleBigPlanet levels. I had nearly 70 levels in my LBP.me queue at the end of the day and am still working my way through them. So again, thank you.
Now it’s #Queuesday again and I wanted to highlight a few things to help you have a successful day of tweeting and queueing. If you’ve never heard of #Queuesday before you might want to read my post from last week here or the latest Sack it to Me post on the PlayStation Blog here.
UPDATE: You can now find all the information you need to take part in #Queuesday at qsday.rocketcheetah.com
Don’t Forget to Mention @LittleBigPlanet
Not only does putting @LittleBigPlanet in your tweet let your followers know what #Queuesday is all about, as an added bonus it also gives you the chance to grab yourself an LBP Cap for your Sackboy or Sackgirl. The LBP team will be trawling through your tweets, retweeting the best ones and sending out DLC codes… but they can only see your tweets if you mention “@LittleBigPlanet” in them.
Any savvy creator wants to try and promote their own levels but #Queuesday is about being community-spirited. Of course, feel free to include a link to one your own levels in your tweet, but mix it up with a few of your favourites from other creators. It’s a bloomin’ nice thing to do but it’s also more likely to get you retweeted by the LBP team ;)
Play Those Levels!
After you’ve posted your own level suggestions, don’t forget to check out the creations that other people have suggested through #Queuesday. You can find them by searching Twitter for #Queuesday but I’ve also set-up a new Twitter account, @Queuesday, which will be retweeting them all. You can peruse the feed below if you like. I’m also curating an LBP.me list of my favourite LBP 2 levels that I’ve found thanks to #Queuesday. Check it out here.
Once again, thanks to everyone taking part. Have fun!
