Declaring a new special day used to be quite a task – you either had so be someone or do something (or run a greetings card company). That sounds like a lot of hard work to me. Thankfully, times have changed and creating a new day is as simple as shoving a hashtag in front of it. #FollowFriday, #MusicMondays, #SexySundays… any schmuck with a Twitter account can declare one of those! So…

Tuesday is now #Queuesday!

#Queuesday works in a similar way to #FollowFridays but the idea is to promote the best LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita creations you’ve found that you think the Twitterverse absolutely has to add to their queue. It’s simple; Just start your Tweet with “#Queuesday”, end it with “@LittleBigPlanet” and in between squeeze in as many LBP.me links as you can. It should look something like this:

Keep an eye out for #Queuesday posts from people you follow or check this Twitter search, then follow the links they post and queue-up the levels. By the end of the day I’m hoping we all have a massive queue of amazing LittleBigPlanet levels to keep us occupied until #Queuesday rolls around again next week.

There’s Prizes!

As an added bonus, the generous folks behind LittleBigPlanet have agreed to pick a few lucky #Queuesday Tweeters at random to receive a code for an LBP Cap! So get tweeting and sharing!

UPDATE: Well the very first #Queuesday was a huge success. I ended-up with around 70 levels in my Queue at the end of the day! I’m still working my way through them but from what I’ve played so far the quality of the levels you Tweeted about is superb. I’ve started making an LBP.me list of the best LBP 2 levels ones and will continue to keep it updated. Unfortunately I can’t do the same with the LBP PS Vita levels but I’ll be highlighting these in other ways. Thanks to everyone who took part – I hope to see you again next Tuesday.
