Los Alamos is the untold story of how the Cold War actually started. Turns out, it was Sackboy. This rather grim premise is the pretence for what actually starts-out as a brilliantly fun and vibrant platformer. The visuals are fresh and the gameplay is superb as you swing, bounce and slide your way through a colourful, carnival-like world. The excellent platforming continues as you enter the atomic age halfway through the level and the aethstetic totally changes. It’s an original take on a classic style of level and it’s definitely one for your queue.
